Complete list of keyboard shortcuts in QuasarSpeak.

Global Hotkeys

These work anywhere in Windows, even when QuasarSpeak is in the background.

Customizing Hotkeys

You can customize the push-to-talk hotkey in Settings:

1. Right-click the QuasarSpeak tray icon
2. Select Settings
3. Go to Speech to Text
4. Click the hotkey field
5. Press your desired key combination
6. Click Save

Hotkey Tips

• Avoid conflicts with other applications
• Use modifier keys (Ctrl, Shift, Alt) for global hotkeys
• The push-to-talk key should be easy to hold with one hand
• Common alternatives: Ctrl+Shift+Space, F13, Pause

Troubleshooting

Hotkey Not Working

1. Check if another app is using the same hotkey
2. Verify QuasarSpeak is running (check system tray)
3. Try a different key combination
4. Restart QuasarSpeak

Hotkey Conflicts

Common conflicts to avoid:

• Ctrl+Space - Input method switching (Windows)
• Alt+Tab - Windows task switching
• Ctrl+Shift+Esc - Task Manager
