How do I activate my license?
After purchase, you'll receive a license key via email. Open QuasarSpeak, go to Settings > License, and enter your key. The app will activate automatically.
Can I transfer my license to a new computer?
Yes. Deactivate your license on the old computer (Settings > License > Deactivate), then activate it on your new computer.
Which language models should I download?
Start with the 'base' model for your language. For better accuracy, try 'small' or 'medium'. Larger models require more RAM and CPU but provide better results.
Why is processing slow on my computer?
Processing speed depends on your CPU and the model size. Try a smaller model or enable GPU acceleration if you have a compatible NVIDIA GPU.
Is all processing local?
Yes — your voice is processed entirely on your machine. Nothing leaves. Internet is only used for login and periodic license validation.
How do I request a refund?
We offer a 14-day refund policy. Contact support with your order number and we'll process your refund promptly.
Reporting Issues
When contacting support about a bug or issue, please include a diagnostics report:
- Open QuasarSpeak
- Go to Help > Collect Diagnostics
- Click 'Generate Report'
- Save the file and attach it to your support request
